Car Booty

A few weeks ago on a sunny Saturday, I persuaded hubby to let us go to a local car boot sale.

I have to say I don't do this very often - usually it's too early in the morning but I thought it would be good!

And it was - I got some brilliant bargains

A beach hut shaped storage jar for my bathroom - 40p

2 Christmas plates - 50p the pair

A jar of glass pebbles - 50p

A lovely embroidered tablecloth - £2

2 embroidery frames - £1 for both

11 kids books - £1

6 books for me - £2

Result!!

Oh, you did do well! I almost didn't come and look when I saw your title, as I'm sulking today - for some reason our Vide Grenier (French Car Boot Sale) isn't on, even though there was a big banner up announcing it. Whthdrawal symptoms...

Gracious you did do well! I'm really jealous of the tablecloth! We did a few carboots this year and I have to say apart from one thing I was really disapointed! Certainly didn't feel like worth getting up at the awful hour that is necessary!

What a result and not much money spent either!

oooh, some lovely stuff there. Would love to know what you think of the Annie Saunders book in your pile there - have read "Goodbye Jimmy Choo" and another, name of which escapes me and thought they were excellent. x
